swCollab — collaboration and work management

Stop managing the gaps between your tools.

Documentation, project tracking, requirements and files — finally connected. Write the plan, manage the work and prove what was delivered, from the same data.

The problem

Your work lives in four systems that do not know about each other.

Your documentation is in one system. Tasks are in another. Requirements, tests and files live somewhere else. When someone asks whether a requirement was built and tested, people rebuild the answer by hand.

swCollab connects them. A requirement links to the task that implements it, the test that verifies it, the decision that affects it and the evidence that it was delivered.

What swCollab changes

01

Documentation that stays current.

Your documentation becomes part of the system, not a report about the system.

Show live tasks, risks, requirements and release scope inside your pages. Change the record once and every page that shows it is up to date. No copied tables, no screenshots, no weekly status document.

02

One project. Different views. No duplicate data.

  • Board for the team.
  • Gantt and timeline for the project manager.
  • Table for analysis.
  • Charts for management.

All of them show the same records. Move a card on the board and the Gantt chart follows.

03

Build traceability while you work — not the week before the audit.

Requirement → implementation → test → evidence

The links are stored as people work, so the traceability matrix comes from the work itself. Nobody rebuilds it in a spreadsheet. Traceability is part of swCollab Business.

04 · Impact

Know what changed. Know what it affects.

Because the connections are stored, these questions have an answer before anyone opens a spreadsheet.

  • Which requirements are not implemented yet?
  • Which requirements have no test?
  • What is affected if this requirement changes?
  • Which release does a failed test put at risk?

05

Turn your shared drive into structured knowledge.

A contract is more than a PDF. It has a customer, an owner, a status and an effective date. swCollab keeps those with the file, keeps every version, and links the file to the work around it.

Search looks inside your documents, not only at their names.

06

Choose convenience or control without changing platforms.

Use the hosted platform or run swCollab yourself. You choose where the data lives.

Administrator roles do not give access to content. When you self-host, Sealed Spaces use keys that the server never holds. How that works

How it works

The proof behind the promises.

For the people who review the architecture.

Data
PostgreSQL for records and relationships, S3-compatible object storage for files. Standard formats you can back up and read without us.
Identity
Keycloak single sign-on with OIDC and SAML, so you can connect your existing directory.
Protected content
Standard, Restricted and Sealed Spaces. Restricted content is encrypted with its own key, which the server holds. Sealed content is encrypted in the browser, and the server operator never holds its key.
Audit
Every access is recorded in a tamper-evident audit history. Reviews, approvals and immutable baselines for requirements.
Connections
Typed relationships between any two records: implements, verifies, affects, references.
Operation
No telemetry. A running deployment does not need to reach us. Enterprise customers with high security requirements can review the source code.
